Larry Caputo and sand art from cremains
Dinner conversation at my house is (mostly) typical. We chat about our day, I remind the kids of their table manners and they argue about things so insignificant, I can’t even remember what they are right now.
In an unusually comfortable way most people wouldn’t understand, sometimes the conversation slips into death chatter. We laugh when my husband instructs my son to “put him down” if he ever loses his mind and my daughter talks about the diamond(s) she will have made from his ashes, though she is still unsure about whether she wants earrings or a necklace. I love that she knows it’s an option, which is more than I can say for most adults.
This weekend, at Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws, she declared she may want to have her dad turned into a sand art sculpture like Larry Caputo (husband of the Long Island Medium, Theresa Caputo)!
If you know anyone who makes sand art sculptures from cremain ashes send me an email – I need to know more!
